Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Terjer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terry Tate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bull Terjer!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Terjer gets caught napping as Tate dives in and scores a takedown. Terjer manages to retain guard.
Tate wants to control from the top but Terjer keeps moving.
Terjer can't keep his opponent in guard - Tate advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Tate content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Terjer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Tate trying to work for an americana but Terjer has managed to regain full guard.
Terjer keeping moving, preventing Tate from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Terry Tate wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Terjer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tate pinned against the cage. Tate gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tate throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Terjer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tate is in Terjer's guard.

Tate darts in and clinches Terjer up against the cage.

Tate decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tate seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Tate goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Terjer rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Tate's guard! Nice work there by Terjer!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Terjer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Tate bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Terjer's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Terjer can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Terjer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
