Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Bobberson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Offerson! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bobberson is defended easily by Offerson. Bobberson lands a jab. Offerson avoids the head kick by Bobberson.
Bobberson swats away the attempt to clinch by Offerson. Bobberson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Offerson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Offerson taking punishment in the form of punches.

Bobberson shoots in looking for a takedown. Offerson tries to sprawl out of it but Bobberson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Offerson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bobberson throws a low kick but Offerson moves out of range easily. A chopping leg kick lands by Bobberson. Bobberson throws a low kick but Offerson avoids it. Offerson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Offerson slaps away a takedown attempt from Bobberson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Offerson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bobberson. That one must have hurt. Bobberson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Billy Bobberson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bobberson throwing strikes from guard but Offerson blocks nicely. Bobberson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Offerson swivels though and keeps the full guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Bobberson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Offerson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bobberson, into his guard. Offerson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bobberson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Offerson has managed to get both his arms back between Bobberson's legs - danger averted. Bobberson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bobberson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bobberson keeping moving, preventing Offerson from controlling successfully. Bobberson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Offerson is one step ahead there. Offerson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bobberson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Offerson did well to prevent Bobberson getting side control. Bobberson throwing shots but Offerson is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bobberson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Bobberson is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Bobberson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Offerson is in big trouble! Offerson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Offerson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bobberson. Offerson misses with a head kick.

Offerson tries to close the distance and clinch but Bobberson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bobberson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Offerson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Offerson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Offerson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Offerson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Bobberson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Offerson's hands. Offerson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bobberson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Offerson on his heels. He'll look to pass Offerson's guard now, I'm sure.

Jack Offerson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Offerson throws a nice inside leg kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bobberson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that's the end of the fight! Billy Bobberson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bobberson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
