Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dynamite Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dragon Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nixon comes to the cage accompanied by Fear is Our Tradition by Ignite. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dynamite Nixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dragon Slayer! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nixon keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nixon digs a good body shot into Slayer's ribs. Nixon tries to bum rush Slayer with a series of wild strikes but Slayer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Slayer throws a hook to the side of Nixon's head but Nixon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nixon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Slayer's guard. Slayer wants to sweep here but Nixon controlling him for the moment. Slayer has momentary wrist control but Nixon slips an elbow through the middle. Nixon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Slayer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nixon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Slayer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nixon has Slayer in his guard. Nixon working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Slayer has passed into half guard!
This has been an exciting period of action! Nixon looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nixon is trying to stand up here but Slayer is controlling him well. Nixon wants to get back to full guard. Nixon is staying active underneath Slayer, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Slayer looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Nixon is defending against the submission attempts here by Slayer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nixon wants to improve his position but Slayer is controlling well.
Nixon is trying to stand up here but Slayer is controlling him well. Slayer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Nixon looking for submissions off his back. Nixon has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Slayer escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Slayer!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nixon sneaks back into half guard. Nixon tries to roll over but Slayer keeps him under control. Slayer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Nixon trying to control but Slayer postures up.
Slayer is working for a kimura but Nixon is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nixon won't allow Slayer to pass to mount. Nixon is refusing to be controlled, as Slayer sits in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slayer passes to full mount! Nixon regains half guard. Nixon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Slayer pulls his head out easily. Nixon looking for submissions from an awkward position here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nixon tries to kick Slayer off but Slayer keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Nixon wants to get back to full guard. Nixon actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dynamite Nixon dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Decent striking displayed by Nixon there. Slayer lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Dynamite Nixon has been cut. Slayer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nixon tries for a takedown but Slayer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nixon falls off balance throwing a combination
and Slayer counters with a nice kick to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nixon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Nixon swings widly with a right hand
and Slayer counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Nixon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Slayer. Nixon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slayer lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Slayer jabs Nixon right on the nose. Nixon blinks but takes it well. Slayer thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Nixon if he has to take too many more of those.
Nixon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Slayer connects with a solid leg kick. Nixon gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slayer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Slayer chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dragon Slayer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Slayer thuds a left hand into Nixon's body. Slayer lands a jab to the head.
Nixon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Dynamite Nixon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slayer looks for the body kick but Nixon saw that one coming. Slayer throws a leg kick which misses Nixon's front leg but catches the back leg as Nixon tries to avoid it. Nixon checks a leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Slayer throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. A jab lands there for Slayer. Slayer connects with a crisp jab. Slayer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Slayer swats away the attempt to clinch by Nixon. Nixon tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slayer scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nixon in his tracks. A head kick misses from Slayer. Slayer with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Slayer connects with a looping right hand.
Nixon is rocked! Nixon swings for the body but Slayer moves out of range.
Oh Nixon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nixon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Slayer cracks Nixon with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nixon tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Slayer pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nixon is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dragon Slayer! During a confident post fight interview, Dragon Slayer thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
