Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thu Pham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jack Carter enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thu Pham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Carter! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pham tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carter swivels and escapes. Carter throws a big shot that misses. Carter moves into the clinch successfully.
Good body shot from Carter.
Carter lands with a left to the head. Carter lands a left hand.
Pham goes for a takedown in the clinch but Carter prevents it.
Carter struggles to land a body shot inside as Pham controls his hands.
Nice body punch from Carter. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Carter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Carter is pressed up against the cage. Pham has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carter down to the mat. Carter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thu Pham. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Good shot there by Carter. Pham takes one to the side of the head.
Carter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab, jab by Carter - just one landing. Carter gets a clinch. Carter stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Carter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Pham backwards. Carter gets underhooks to prevent Pham's takedown attempt.
Pham changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Carter fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Carter moves out of range of the strikes. Pham's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Carter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pham scrambles back to his feet. Carter scores with a hook to the body. Pham takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Pham shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pham shoots for a double leg takedown but Carter sprawls well. He's pushed Pham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pham at a distance.
Pham is breathing heavily. Carter defending well as Pham loads up on a big left hand. Carter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pham's hands.
Pham is rocked! Carter drops Pham with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pham looks back up at him and smiles so Carter waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Pham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jack Carter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Carter ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Pham out cold! The fight is over!
