Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chael Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chael Hart has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chael Hart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Griffin!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Griffin shoots in and bounces Hart off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Griffin misses with a takedown attempt

and Hart counters with a nice double leg into side control. Griffin won't be happy with that.

Griffin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Griffin is letting Hart control him for a moment.
Hart seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Griffin for as long as he can get away with.

Hart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Griffin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hart has his foot on Griffin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Griffin works his way back into a safe position though.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hart is on top in guard.
