Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobo James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ici La Bas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

La Bas gets a takedown into half guard.
La Bas is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
James knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for La Bas on the ground.
La Bas tries to pass to full mount but James defends it.
James trying to control but La Bas postures up.

James is looking for a sweep. La Bas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
La Bas is sneakily working for an arm triangle but James sees it coming and defends easily.
James gets full guard.
La Bas slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
James is pressing down on La Bas's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
La Bas drops back, looking for a kneebar! James looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. James looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from James!

La Bas parries the strikes from James easily there. James is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable La Bas to escape.

La Bas manages to work his way to half guard, despite James's best efforts.

James tries to pass to full mount but La Bas defends it.
James is looking to take a break and control but La Bas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
