Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sozu Arghei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Kuivanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuivanen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kanye West - Amazing ft. Young Jeezy .. Sozu Arghei has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sozu Arghei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anton Kuivanen! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arghei misses with the combination.
Arghei really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kuivanen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Kuivanen working some strikes from top position. Kuivanen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Arghei is keeping the position for now. Kuivanen stands and throws Arghei's legs to the side, diving into side control. Arghei knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuivanen on the ground. Kuivanen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kuivanen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Arghei is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Arghei on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Arghei tries to get out of the position. Kuivanen tries to score with some ground and pound. Arghei controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuivanen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kuivanen working the ground and pound from side control. Arghei is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Kuivanen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Arghei dodges the ground and pound from Kuivanen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuivanen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kuivanen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Arghei knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kuivanen is chipping away with strikes.
Kuivanen tries to score with some ground and pound. Arghei controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuivanen decides to stand back up. Kuivanen drives through with a takedown into guard. Arghei avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kuivanen works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kuivanen looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Arghei kicks off Kuivanen and gets to his feet. Arghei throws a series of punches but Kuivanen moves out of range. Kuivanen tries to clinch up but Arghei circles away and keeps his distance. Arghei takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Kuivanen misses the jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Arghei throws an overhand right that lands on Kuivanen's shoulder, as Kuivanen tries to avoid the shot. Arghei lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kuivanen backs up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Arghei. Those never looked like landing. Arghei moves out of range as Kuivanen strikes. Kuivanen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kuivanen scores with a nice head shot. Arghei looks to score with a jab to the body but Kuivanen is just out of range. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kuivanen.
Kuivanen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kuivanen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kuivanen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Arghei keeps working. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Arghei wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anton Kuivanen dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kuivanen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Arghei throws out the jab. Nice shot lands for Arghei. Kuivanen shoots for a double leg takedown but Arghei sprawls well. He's pushed Kuivanen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kuivanen scores with a punch to the head. Kuivanen fails with a takedown attempt. Kuivanen with a lazy takedown attempt and Arghei counters with a three punch combo that has Kuivanen backing up. Kuivanen nods at Arghei to acknowledge the strikes.
It looks like Anton Kuivanen has been cut. Sozu Arghei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anton Kuivanen. Arghei gets caught napping as Kuivanen dives in and scores a takedown. Arghei manages to retain guard. Arghei keeping moving, preventing Kuivanen from controlling successfully. Anton Kuivanen has got the better of the ground game so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kuivanen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Arghei is keeping the position for now. Kuivanen works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuivanen is trying to control the action in half guard but Arghei is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Arghei looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kuivanen wants to pass the guard but Arghei is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Arghei is defending against the submission attempts here by Kuivanen.
Kuivanen seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arghei is staying active underneath Kuivanen, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kuivanen is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Kuivanen uses his free foot to push down on Arghei's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Arghei. Arghei is trying to get back to his feet but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kuivanen has hold of Arghei's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Arghei manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kuivanen swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
