Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ingemar Anders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toshiro Montero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anders comes to the cage accompanied by Gods Son. Montero has chosen Danzig - Mother as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ingemar Anders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Toshiro Montero! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anders misses with a leg kick and Montero counters with a nice double leg into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Montero postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Montero wants to control from the top but Anders keeps moving. Montero trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Montero trying to control but Anders is working from the bottom. Anders working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Montero. Anders is trying to control the position but Montero postures up. Anders wants to improve his position but instead Montero has moved into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montero takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Montero missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Montero throws a strike but Anders avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Montero postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Montero tries to free his leg and advance position but Anders is retaining full guard. Anders looking to hit a scissor sweep but Montero is one step ahead there. Montero throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Anders works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montero pushing down on Anders's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Montero sitting and controlling from the half guard. Anders wants to improve his position but Montero is controlling well.
Montero takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montero is looking to take a break and control but Anders is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Montero working the head and body with strikes. Nice strikes from Montero there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Montero is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Montero throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montero missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Montero is trying to control the action in half guard but Anders is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Montero prevents Anders from standing back up.
Montero is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Montero is keen to just control but Anders is a slippery customer. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Montero is thwarting Anders's attempts to control the position. Montero looks to score some points with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Toshiro Montero dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Montero uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Anders.

Anders throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Montero is looking to land body kicks. Anders lands a head kick!
Ingemar Anders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anders throws a jab when Montero was well out of range. Anders lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Anders connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Anders misses with a lunging right hand
and Montero counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Anders's guard now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Montero pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Anders is keeping the position for now. Anders trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montero trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Montero drops back, looking for a kneebar! Anders looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Anders looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Anders! Montero manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Montero moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montero working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anders doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anders manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Anders avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Montero has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anders wants to control from the top but Montero keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Anders sitting in guard here, content to control. Montero working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anders doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anders manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Toshiro Montero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Anders's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Anders stuffs the takedown attempt from Montero. Montero gets slowly back to his feet. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Montero, right into the meat.
A good leg kick by Montero. Montero throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Montero just misses with a punch to the body.

and Anders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Montero drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Montero connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Anders showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Montero.

That's one minute gone in the round. Montero looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Montero changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anders looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Anders is looking for a sweep. Montero throws an elbow but Anders slips to the side and avoids it well. Montero advances nicely into full mount. Anders is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Montero jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Anders is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Anders and Montero has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Anders tries to buck Montero off but Montero is having none of it. Ingemar Anders has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Montero seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Anders tries to get back to half guard but can't. Anders dodges the ground and pound from Montero. Anders is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Montero is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Montero looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Montero thowing shots but they're missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montero working the ground and pound effectively.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Montero is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Anders has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Montero landing strikes from the mount and Anders is in trouble! Anders is desperately trying to improve his position but Montero has a good base and remains in mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Montero scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Anders?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Montero with the ground and pound from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Toshiro Montero comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Montero has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Toshiro Montero! Toshiro Montero decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
