Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Mirskovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sea Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aleksander Mirskovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sea Bass! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mirskovich jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bass avoids the body shot from Mirskovich.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bass shoots in for a takedown but Mirskovich shows good takedown defense. Mirskovich throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Bass or perhaps it was just good defense by Mirskovich which made him look bad. Mirskovich swings for the body but Bass moves out of range.
Jab by Mirskovich. Bass shoots for a takedown but Mirskovich saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Aleksander Mirskovich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sea Bass. Bass fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Mirskovich lands with a right hand. Bass feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bass thows a big elbow that misses. Bass stopping the sweep attempt from Mirskovich. Bass pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mirskovich is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bass lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mirskovich keeping moving, preventing Bass from controlling successfully. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Bass throws a big right hand that misses. Bass is in close to Mirskovich's body, working some short punches and elbows. Mirskovich bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bass's guard. Bass is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mirskovich is fighting to break Bass's control of his arms but Bass is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Bass trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bass trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Bass is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Mirskovich is trying to stand back up but Bass is controlling him
Mirskovich wants to improve his position but Bass is controlling well.

Bass has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bass is stalling here. Mirskovich is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bass seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mirskovich has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Bass is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mirskovich off and has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bass avoiding Mirskovich 's attempts to control his hands. Bass lands an elbow to the side of the head. Even with his hooks in, Bass manages to miss with strikes from the back. Mirskovich trying to get back to his feet but Bass is in full control for now. Mirskovich is breathing heavily. Will Bass go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bass tries to get the hooks in deep but Mirskovich pushed the leg off. Bass is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Mirskovich. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Mirskovich takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Bass looking for the choke from the back. Bass looking for the choke but no joy. Bass throws strikes from the back but Mirskovich rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Mirskovich. Bass stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mirskovich swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sea Bass dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bass has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Aleksander Mirskovich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bass looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mirskovich is fending him off so far but Bass persists. Nope, Mirskovich circles away and we're back to standing. Mirskovich lands a jab to Bass's midsection. Mirskovich drops Bass with a beautiful combination! Bass stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mirskovich is looking for the KO!
Bass is rocked!
It looks like Sea Bass has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mirskovich lands a brutal uppercut that launches Bass off his feet! Bass tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aleksander Mirskovich!
