Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Axl Dokken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Axl Dokken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donald Riley! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Riley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A left and a right from Riley both land. Nice combination. Donald Riley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riley throws a right hand that misses
letting Dokken counter with a right hand. Dokken dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Riley scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Dokken smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Riley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Riley jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riley misses with a lunging right hand
and Riley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dokken scores with a crisp jab that stopped Riley in his tracks. Riley throws a big shot that misses. A big left from Riley misses. Dokken tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Riley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Riley misses with an uppercut. Dokken saw that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dokken ducks under a wild hook from Riley. Riley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dokken. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Dokken throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Riley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dokken counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dokken with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Riley to score with a decent uppercut. Dokken ducks under a wild hook from Riley.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dokken staying out of range there. Dokken shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Riley sprawls well. Riley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dokken gets slowly back to his feet. Riley circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Dokken counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dokken moves away from the strike by Riley. Riley throws a shot from downtown. Dokken moves away and avoids it. Dokken moves in looking to clinch but Riley pushes him off. Riley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dokken napping and manages to drive through into side control! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Riley fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dokken being controlled for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donald Riley dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Dokken counters with a nice uppercut. Dokken with a body punch. A glancing blow. Riley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dokken moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dokken walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Riley misses with a right hand and Dokken counters with a lovely straight right hand! The fight stays on the outside here - Dokken looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Riley misses with an uppercut. Riley throws a shot from downtown. Dokken moves away and avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dokken bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Riley's head backwards. Dokken tries to clinch but Riley moves out of range. Riley throws an off balance right hand
and Riley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Riley throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dokken counters with a left to the body. Riley on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Riley jabs Dokken right on the nose. Dokken blinks but takes it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riley misses with a lunging right hand
and Dokken counters with a three punch combo that has Riley backing up. Riley nods at Dokken to acknowledge the strikes. Riley throws a right hand that Dokken ducks under and follows up with a left that Dokken also avoids with ease. A big left from Riley misses. Dokken fails in his attempt to clinch. Dokken dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riley throws a right hand that misses
and Dokken makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Riley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dokken momentarily.

Riley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dokken. Dokken throws a body punch but Riley moves out of range. Riley throws a jab but it's blocked by Dokken. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Donald Riley will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Riley drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Riley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Riley stands and throws Dokken's legs to the side, diving into side control. Dokken is looking to reverse the position. Riley throwing shots but missing, from side control. Dokken taking punishment in the form of punches.
Dokken struggling a bit here. Riley controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dokken parries the strikes from Riley easily there. Riley is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dokken to escape.
Riley postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
A lull in the action here as Riley stalls from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Let's hope that Riley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Dokken takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Riley is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Axl Dokken has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dokken knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Riley on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Donald Riley was stalling too much, according to the referee. Dokken avoids a punch combination nicely.
Riley misses with an uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! Donald Riley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Riley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
