Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cice Salace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cice Salace has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Cice Salace! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Stevens! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens connects with a crisp jab. Stevens cracks Salace with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A lazy left from Stevens finds it's target. Nice body kick from Stevens. Stevens cracks Salace with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stevens moves into range and connects with a jab. Stevens lands a left and a right that sends Salace crashing to the canvas! Stevens dives into mount looking to finish!
Salace is rocked!
It looks like Cice Salace has been cut. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Salace is trying desperately to improve position. Oh Salace is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Stevens fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Salace tries to reverse the position but Stevens maintains control. Salace seems to have got his legs back now. Stevens trying to control but Salace is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salace keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Salace tries to hold on but Stevens pushes him away. Stevens lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Salace hang on? Salace taking shots to the head. Salace tries to hold on but Stevens postures up. Stevens working for a submission but Salace is keeping him at bay. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salace is looking to improve his position but Stevens isn't that keen on the idea. Stevens takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salace is trying desperately to improve position. Salace wants to hold on but Stevens pushes him away. Stevens cracks Salace with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Salace is trying desperately to improve position. Stevens has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Salace is working hard here to advance position. Stevens controlling his opponent. Stevens working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Salace can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Salace gets back to half guard. Salace desperately trying to maintain half guard. Salace actively working from the bottom here. Stevens seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Salace is looking for a sweep. Stevens is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Stevens controlling the pace. Stevens tries to pass the half guard into mount. Salace knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salace wants to get back to full guard but Stevens has passed into side control. Salace is trying to control Stevens's posture but Stevens avoids it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Salace gets back to half guard. Stevens trying to control from half guard but Salace is working away. Salace is looking for a sweep. Stevens is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stevens in particular looking to stall. Stevens landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Stevens not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dean Stevens dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cice Salace's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Stevens fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Stevens buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Stevens dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Stevens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A solid leg kick lands there for Stevens.
Stevens paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Salace takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Stevens misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dean Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Salace's head backwards. Stevens throws a nice inside leg kick. Salace takes a jab right on the kisser.
Stevens takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A decent looking body kick lands there for Stevens. Salace takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Salace takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stevens chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevens lands a jab to Salace's midsection. Stevens looks to land a combination. Salace sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Stevens changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stevens scores with a kick to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Stevens. Stevens connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Stevens lands a nice shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens throws a nice head kick!

Salace needs to keep his hands up - Stevens had a free shot at his head there. Stevens lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Salace is looking to close the distance but Stevens sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Salace crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Salace is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Dean Stevens! Dean Stevens retains his welterweight title! Dean Stevens gave a mention to Milwaukee's Best 160 SALE $150 in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
