Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Douglas Quaid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mufasa Taylor!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quaid changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Taylor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Taylor tries to buck Quaid off but Quaid is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quaid controlling from side mount.
Quaid wants to stand but Taylor has his arm trapped.
Taylor tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Quaid wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Taylor is not content to let Quaid control the position.
Taylor is trying to improve his position.

Quaid lands a few punches from side control.
Taylor is looking for a sweep.
Quaid wants to stand but Taylor is controlling his arm.
Taylor is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Quaid is thwarting Taylor's attempts to control the position.
Quaid looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Taylor with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Taylor is controlling Quaid's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Taylor is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Quaid is staying active.
Taylor is trying to get back to full guard.

Quaid trying to mount his opponent but Taylor defends it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Taylor gets full guard.
Quaid throws a big right hand that misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Quaid cracks Taylor with a solid left hand.
Taylor wants to sweep here but Quaid controlling him for the moment.

Taylor lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Quaid!

It looks like Douglas Quaid has been cut.
Taylor lands a big shot there that rocks Quaid but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Taylor unloads an enormous knee to the head! That's knocked Quaid out cold! Holy cow, it was almost as if it lifted Quaid off his feet!

Mufasa Taylor tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
