Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trey Damons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zaheer Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damons comes to the cage accompanied by All the Above. Trey Damons has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zaheer Khan!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan stuffs the takedown attempt from Damons. Damons gets slowly back to his feet.
Khan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Damons is looking for a triangle but Khan pushes his legs off easily.
Damons is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Khan trying to stand up but can't free himself from Damons's guard.
Khan stops Damons from standing up.

Khan wants to control from the top but Damons keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Zaheer Khan was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Khan forces Damons back against the cage and clinches.
Khan tries to break the clinch but Damons is controlling the position.

Damons tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Khan just stands there and leans against the cage.

Damons would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Khan can't keep his opponent in guard - Damons advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Damons wants to take a breather but Khan is having none of it.
Damons passes the guard and advances to mount!

Damons is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Khan has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Damons lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Damons working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Damons has control of Khan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Khan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Damons trying to control but Khan is having none of it.
Damons is stalling here but it's allowed Khan to get half guard.
Damons is looking for a kimura but Khan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Damons to get the leverage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Damons passes to side control.
You can see the frustration on Khan's face as Damons controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damons gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Khan to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Damons looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Khan is defending well. Damons quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Khan has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Damons celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Trey Damons!
A relieved looking Trey Damons thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
