The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halleineaf lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Batista closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Halleineaf did well to prevent Batista getting side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Batista in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Halleineaf tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Batista!
