Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taka Sho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meas Chanta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chanta has chosen get up-50 cent as his entrance music. Meas Chanta has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Taka Sho's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Taka Sho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Meas Chanta! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chanta keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Chanta throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sho fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Sho takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Sho lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Chanta tries to clinch but Sho is having none of it. Sho misses with a left hand and Chanta moves into the clinch. Chanta with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Taka Sho has been cut. Sho managing to block the knees to the body from Chanta.
Sho is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chanta pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sho has a couple of punches blocked by Chanta.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sho lands a left hand that snaps the head of Chanta backwards. Chanta trying to land knees to the body.
Sho stalling in the clinch but Chanta improves position. Chanta blocking some punches.
Sho is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chanta gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taka Sho. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sho is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Sho takes an elbow to the temple. Sho swings wildly with an uppercut but Chanta uses good head movement to avoid it. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Sho misses with a hook from the clinch. Chanta throws a knee to the head but misses.

Chanta throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sho blocks it with crossed arms. Sho is trying to maintain a safe position but Chanta gets an underhook and turns Sho into the cage. Chanta landing knees to the head.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Chanta obliges. Sho is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chanta taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Sho is rocked! Sho on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Oh Sho is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chanta holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Sho seems to have got his legs back now. Chanta crunches a lovely knee into Sho's ribcage. Chanta wants to stall.
Chanta is pressed up against the cage. Sho has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chanta down to the mat. Chanta avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Chanta is looking to clinch. Chanta checks a leg kick. Chanta has closed the distance and engaged Sho in a clinch.
Sho swings wildly with an uppercut but Chanta uses good head movement to avoid it. Chanta lands a knee to the head.

Chanta using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sho has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Sho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Chanta connects with a body shot that sends Sho's belly button to the back. Oooooh!!! Chanta has knocked Sho down with a huge combo! Chanta steps away and waves a wobbly Sho back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chanta scores with a jab. Sho tries to get into range but Chanta steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Sho! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Chanta scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Meas Chanta! Our winner, Meas Chanta, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
