Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gay Barr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barr lands a jab-cross combination.
Garcia connects with a jab.

Barr has managed to clinch.

Garcia's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Garcia throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Garcia avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Barr is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Garcia's half guard.
Garcia tries to roll over but Barr keeps him under control.
Barr wants to pass to mount but Garcia is defending the position.
Barr wants to take a breather but Garcia is having none of it.
Barr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Barr throws a combination. Garcia tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Brian Garcia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barr throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Garcia connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Barr has his takedown stuffed
and Garcia counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Garcia throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Garcia connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Brian Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Garcia tenderised Barr's leg. Barr is trying to keep his angry face on.
Garcia cracks Barr with a right hand to the side of the head.

Garcia drops Barr onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Barr is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Barr is rocked!
Garcia dips a shoulder and cracks Barr with a mighty uppercut! Barr falls back against the cage and Garcia unloads with a barrage of strikes! Barr is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Garcia screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
