Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Ketchup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack The Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jack The Ripper enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 50 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Ketchup!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack The Ripper!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ketchup fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

The Ripper tries to sprawl but Ketchup drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The Ripper is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ketchup's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ketchup's back!

Will The Ripper go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

That was a close round but I would say that John Ketchup will probably get the nod.

Ketchup throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around The Ripper's waist but The Ripper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ketchup off to one side.

Ketchup is stalling here. The Ripper is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ketchup seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and The Ripper has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Ketchup.
I think Ketchup has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
