Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benson Dimagiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mishiriro Kawaguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Benson Dimagiba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mishiriro Kawaguchi! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dimagiba will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dimagiba with a poor takedown and Kawaguchi counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Dimagiba goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kawaguchi prevents it.

Dimagiba has Kawaguchi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kawaguchi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Dimagiba has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kawaguchi after a bit of a struggle. Dimagiba keeps control of Kawaguchi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kawaguchi tries a body shot but Dimagiba blocks it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kawaguchi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dimagiba, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mishiriro Kawaguchi dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kawaguchi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kawaguchi trying to mount his opponent but Dimagiba defends it. Kawaguchi is looking to take a break and control but Dimagiba is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Dimagiba won't allow Kawaguchi to pass to mount.

Mishiriro Kawaguchi has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Dimagiba shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kawaguchi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kawaguchi. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kawaguchi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kawaguchi scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Dimagiba sprawls well initially but Kawaguchi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kawaguchi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mishiriro Kawaguchi. Dimagiba shoots for a takedown but Kawaguchi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kawaguchi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kawaguchi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kawaguchi stands up and we're back to a striking position. Dimagiba gets caught flat footed, as Kawaguchi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dimagiba knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kawaguchi on the ground. Dimagiba wants to stand up but Kawaguchi is controlling him. Kawaguchi sitting in guard, not really doing much.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mishiriro Kawaguchi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kawaguchi closes the distance and clinches. Kawaguchi is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benson Dimagiba. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kawaguchi throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Kawaguchi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Dimagiba frees his head nicely. Oh but Kawaguchi has switched to an armbar! Dimagiba is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
