Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lisha Sure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Studebaker Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk has chosen silver hawk as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lisha Sure! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Studebaker Hawk! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Sure looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hawk dips to his left and cracks Sure with an uppercut!
It looks like Lisha Sure has been cut. Hawk drives through with a takedown into Sure's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Hawk slips nicely into half guard. Hawk is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sure defends it well. Hawk is working for a kimura but Sure is defending it quite comfortably.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hawk is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sure sees it coming and defends easily. Sure is refusing to be controlled, as Hawk sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk is looking for a kimura but Sure is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hawk to get the leverage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawk looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Hawk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sure doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sure tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sure will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hawk throws a big right hand that misses. Sure looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hawk postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sure looking to control.
Sure is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sure keeping moving, preventing Hawk from controlling successfully. Sure is trying to control the position but Hawk postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hawk closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Hawk looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Hawk is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sure is just riding it out for now. Hawk eventually gives up the hold. Hawk sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sure defending well though. Hawk not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sure tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Hawk has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Sure is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Sure flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hawk anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Sure and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hawk slips an arm under Sure chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hawk has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hawk is squeezing on Sure like an anaconda would it's prey. Sure fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Studebaker Hawk! Studebaker Hawk seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
