Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rashard Evens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hades Destroyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rashard Evens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hades Destroyer!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Destroyer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Destroyer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Evens is looking for a sweep. Destroyer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Evens could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Evens has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Destroyer is working away from the top position though.
Destroyer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Destroyer postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Evens to stand up.

Destroyer gets a takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Destroyer is pressing down on Evens's thigh, looking to free his foot. Evens is holding on for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Destroyer with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hades Destroyer.
Destroyer keeps the fight on the outside.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Left hook, right uppercut from Evens.
Evens tries to close the distance and clinch but Destroyer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Evens slaps away a takedown attempt from Destroyer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Destroyer shoots for a double leg takedown but Evens sprawls well. He's pushed Destroyer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Evens tries to sprawl but Destroyer drives through with a takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Evens is looking to control Destroyer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Evens avoid being mounted?

Destroyer is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Evens is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
