Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Samedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Ankudinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankudinov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I must break you. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Eric Ankudinov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Samedov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eric Ankudinov! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ankudinov tries to close the distance and clinch but Samedov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Samedov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. No luck for Ankudinov with that takedown attempt. Samedov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ankudinov misses with a body shot.
Ankudinov closes the distance and clinches up with Samedov, looking for a takedown. Ankudinov pushes Samedov against the cage but Samedov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ankudinov scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Samedov is trying to buck Ankudinov off. Ankudinov working the head and body with strikes. Ankudinov grinds an elbow into Samedov's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ankudinov sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Samedov is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Samedov is not content to let Ankudinov control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samedov throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Ankudinov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Samedov keeps working. Samedov wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Samedov is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ankudinov sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Samedov is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Ankudinov landing strikes. Samedov is not content to let Ankudinov control the position. The ground and pound from Ankudinov seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Samedov parries the strikes from Ankudinov easily there. Ankudinov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Samedov to escape.
Samedov explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Samedov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ankudinov. Ankudinov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Samedov jabs at Ankudinov's body. Samedov scores with a jab. Ankudinov acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Ankudinov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ankudinov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ankudinov lands with a punch from half guard. Ankudinov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ankudinov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Samedov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Samedov is staying active underneath Ankudinov, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ankudinov is pressing down on Samedov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Samedov is holding on for now. Samedov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Samedov tries to get out of the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Samedov looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Samedov is refusing to be controlled, as Ankudinov sits in half guard. Ankudinov is thwarting Samedov's attempts to control the position. Ankudinov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Samedov looks like he's trying to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Ankudinov dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ankudinov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Samedov moves into range and connects with a jab. Ankudinov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Samedov. Samedov lands with a straight right. Ankudinov didn't see that one coming. Samedov scores with a jab to the head.
Samedov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Samedov misses with a body shot.
Samedov misses the jab. Samedov's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Samedov duly obliges.
Ankudinov is rocked! Samedov is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Ankudinov hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Igor Samedov! Igor Samedov seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
