Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Devin Carrier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrier pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hansen is out of range and Carrier settles back down.
Nice sprawl there from Carrier as Hansen shoots in.
Carrier will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Carrier misses with a low kick.
Hansen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carrier sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hansen somewhat.
Hansen avoids the head kick by Carrier.
A bone on bone clash there as Hansen blocks the leg kick.
Hansen looks for a takedown but Carrier sprawls well.
Devin Carrier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bo Hansen.
Carrier connects with a leg kick. Hansen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Carrier tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hansen was well out of range. Poor timing from Carrier.

Hansen dives in and scores a takedown into Carrier's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Hansen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hansen stands and throws Carrier's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hansen is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Carrier looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hansen gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Carrier is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hansen lets go of the hold and Carrier can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bo Hansen!
A relieved looking Bo Hansen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
