Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andr De Fran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borin Chim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Fran comes to the cage accompanied by No Worries. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andr De Fran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Borin Chim! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chim lands a nice leg kick that just misses De Fran's sensitive parts. De Fran gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. De Fran pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chim scoring well with a low kick there.
Chim lands a nice shot to the body.
De Fran checks the leg kick nicely there.
Chim looks to throw a body kick and De Fran counters with a slapping leg kick. Chim takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
De Fran scores with a jab to the jaw. Chim connects with a solid leg kick. Chim with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

De Fran sees it coming and avoids it easily. Borin Chim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chim closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chim lands in his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Andr De Fran. De Fran throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chim slips a jab and a cross from De Fran.

The fight stays on the outside here - De Fran looks like he's thinking about clinching though. De Fran takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
An inside leg kick lands from De Fran. Chim uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from De Fran. De Fran tries to clinch there but Chim circles away.
De Fran leaves Chim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Chim.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chim does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Andr De Fran is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Chim tries to score with a low kick but De Fran moves his leg out of the way. De Fran connects with a solid leg kick. De Fran chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chim can pounce on him.
Chim checks the leg kick. De Fran misses with a right hand and Chim counters with a nice double leg into half guard. De Fran is looking to control Chim's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can De Fran avoid being mounted? Chim wants to take a breather but De Fran is having none of it. Chim thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed De Fran's head. De Fran trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Fran taking some punishment here, with Chim in his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chim is trying to control the action in half guard but De Fran is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Chim slows the pace down in half guard. Chim is trying to control. De Fran wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Chim missing with the ground and pound from half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. De Fran is looking to take this fight into the clinch. De Fran throws a body kick that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Borin Chim dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Chim misses with a body kick. Chim lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Chim closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. De Fran did well to prevent Chim getting side control. Chim is trying to control. De Fran wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Chim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Chim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. De Fran is trying is best to control the position here. De Fran is looking for a sweep. Chim is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Chim is just content to waste time from the top position. De Fran takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chim won't allow De Fran to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Fran controls Chim momentarily but Chim frees himself. Chim trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chim wants to control from the top but De Fran keeps moving. Chim loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Chim trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Fran is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. De Fran keeping full guard, as Chim tries to pass. De Fran looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chim is one step ahead there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Chim connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between De Fran's hands. De Fran finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Fran misses with a wild body shot. De Fran takes a body punch but keeps moving. Chim dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on De Fran. That did some damage! Chim thumps De Fran with a low kick. The fighters circling - De Fran throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Chim looks to throw the jab but De Fran is out of range. De Fran swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chim connects with a leg kick. De Fran looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. De Fran throws a quick inside leg kick. De Fran takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. De Fran takes a swing at Chim's ribcage but misses. Chim turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A big right from De Fran misses. Chim connects with a crisp jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chim's jab looks to have found its range, popping De Fran under the eye. Chim looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A nice inside leg kick there by Chim. That's going to slow De Fran down. Chim lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. That kick from Chim tenderised De Fran's leg. De Fran is trying to keep his angry face on. Borin Chim seems to be getting the better of the standup. Chim throws a push kick but De Fran slaps the foot to one side. Chim throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent De Fran stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. De Fran on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Chim buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Borin Chim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Chim closes the distance and clinches up with De Fran, looking for a takedown. Chim pushes De Fran against the cage but De Fran circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Chim lands a jab-cross combination. Chim throws a body kick that misses. De Fran misses with a right hand so Chim counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chim trying to control the position from guard on top but De Fran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. De Fran wants to sweep but no luck. Chim with a nice head shot there. De Fran working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chim. Chim throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Chim lands strikes from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chim connects with a nice short shot to De Fran's temple. Chim trying to control the pace. Andr De Fran has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. De Fran on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Chim throwing shots but De Fran is blocking nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Borin Chim comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chim has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
