3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ubin Yakinoff ! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glenn is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Yakinoff . Yakinoff swings widly with a right hand
and Glenn counters with a nice double leg into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glenn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Glenn trying to control but Yakinoff is working from the bottom. Glenn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Glenn wants to control from the top but Yakinoff keeps moving. Glenn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yakinoff is keeping the position for now. Glenn is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Yakinoff is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Ubin Yakinoff has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Yakinoff throws a hook but Glenn avoids it easily. Yakinoff feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Glenn's calf. Yakinoff pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Yakinoff throws a series of punches but Glenn avoids them all with ease. Glenn wants to clinch up but Yakinoff keeps it at a distance. Yakinoff throws a front kick aimed at Glenn's knee but Glenn avoids it well. Glenn closes the distance and clinches up with Yakinoff , looking for a takedown. Glenn pushes Yakinoff against the cage but Yakinoff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Yakinoff keeping control of the position. Robert Glenn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Yakinoff blocking the ground and pound attempt from Glenn. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yakinoff trying to control but Glenn postures up.
Glenn perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Glenn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Yakinoff looks like he's trying to stand up.

Ubin Yakinoff showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

A little nod from Glenn there as he acknowledges the shot. Glenn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Yakinoff defends it nicely. Yakinoff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No luck for Glenn with that takedown attempt. Yakinoff lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Yakinoff throws a looping overhand right but Glenn ducks down to avoid it. Nice jab there from Yakinoff . Yakinoff waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Glenn. Yakinoff throws a right hand that Glenn ducks under and follows up with a left that Glenn also avoids with ease. Glenn tries to clinch there but Yakinoff circles away.
Yakinoff lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Glenn circles away quickly and effectively. Yakinoff throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Glenn counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Glenn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yakinoff does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yakinoff is looking to control Glenn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Yakinoff avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yakinoff is trying to get back to full guard. Yakinoff is controlling Glenn's trapped leg to prevent Glenn from advancing to side control. Yakinoff keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Yakinoff keeping control of the position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ubin Yakinoff wasn't active enough on the ground. Yakinoff lands with a hook. Glenn tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Glenn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Glenn. Glenn slips nicely into half guard. Yakinoff regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Glenn. Glenn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Glenn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yakinoff swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glenn trying to control but Yakinoff is working from the bottom. Glenn is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yakinoff trying to keep a closed guard but Glenn is proving a slippery customer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Yakinoff throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Glenn has his takedown stuffed and Yakinoff cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ubin Yakinoff . I've got Yakinoff winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
