The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambrose throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Amazon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Amazon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Some bone on bone action there as Amazon checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ambrose dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Amazon. That did some damage!
Amazon moves forwards but Ambrose connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Ambrose scores with a hook to the body. Amazon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Amazon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Amazon walks straight into a right hand from Ambrose - that's dropped him! Ambrose jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Amazon from any more punishment! Amazon complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
