Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Carlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Chigurh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlton comes into the arena with Samael - Baphomets Throne blaring out of the sound system. Chigurh has chosen Kvelertak-Mjod as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlton dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chigurh. That did some damage!
A nice leg kick lands there from Chigurh.
Chigurh takes a swing at Carlton's ribcage but misses.
Chigurh tries a head kick but it misses.
Chigurh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Carlton lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chigurh misses with a hook.
Chigurh is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chigurh, as that shot connected.
A telegraphed right hand from Carlton misses the target.
Chigurh rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Carlton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chigurh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chigurh slips under a jab from Carlton.
Chigurh thows a leg kick but Carlton checks it
and Carlton counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Chigurh! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Carlton!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Carlton!
Kyle Carlton was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
