Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Lockley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Kilpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lockley's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Disney's Gummy Bears Intro (Rus). Kilpatrick has chosen Parkway Drive - Dark Days as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luke Kilpatrick!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lockley moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Lockley connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kilpatrick. Kilpatrick circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


It looks like Luke Kilpatrick has been cut.
Lockley smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lockley fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kilpatrick has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lockley lands with a hook. Kilpatrick tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kilpatrick is just content to waste time from the top position. Lockley takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Lockley just misses with a punch to the body.

Kilpatrick ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kilpatrick takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Kilpatrick drops his hands momentarily and Lockley takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Luke Kilpatrick will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lockley uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kilpatrick.
Lockley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kilpatrick looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kilpatrick takes one on the button.
Kilpatrick throws a hook but Lockley avoids it easily.
Lockley scores with the left hand. Kilpatrick knows he should have avoided that one.
Kilpatrick ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lockley throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lockley throws a right and a left that Kilpatrick avoids nicely.
Lockley throws a body punch but Kilpatrick moves out of range.

Kilpatrick tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lockley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kilpatrick somewhat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lockley lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Kilpatrick chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lockley can pounce on him.

Luke Kilpatrick's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
