Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dale Gribble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Romo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dale Gribble! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Romo! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gribble fails with a takedown attempt. Romo tries to close the distance and clinch but Gribble swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Romo shoots and misses and Gribble counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Gribble is keen to just control but Romo is a slippery customer. Romo is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Gribble jumps into side control! Romo is trying to get back to half guard. Gribble working the head and body with strikes. Gribble wants to control but Romo is keeping him busy. A control attempt from Romo but he's now mounted! Gribble has hold of Romo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Romo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romo is squirming around, avoiding Gribble's attempts to control the action. Romo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Romo wants to hold on but Gribble pushes him away. Romo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gribble lands a big shot there that rocks Romo but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Gribble wants to take his opponent's back but Romo doesn't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gribble stands up from mount. Strange move. Gribble has his takedown stuffed and Romo counters with a nice double leg into guard. Gribble manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Romo manages to get himself to full guard.
Gribble is looking to work some ground and pound but Romo has wrist control. Romo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Gribble advances position into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Romo wants to get back to his feet but Gribble drags him back down. Gribble has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Romo looks gassed! Romo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gribble shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dale Gribble. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gribble fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Romo, pushing him back against the cage. Romo lands an uppercut. Romo has Gribble pushed against the cage. Romo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gribble just stands there and leans against the cage. Romo has clasped his hands together around Gribble's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Gribble sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gribble trying to control from the bottom.
Gribble makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gribble. Romo stops Gribble from standing up. Romo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gribble. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gribble throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Romo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Romo wants to pass the guard but Gribble is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dale Gribble will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gribble gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Gribble fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gribble jumps into guard, dragging Romo to the mat.
Gribble has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Romo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Romo wants to pass the guard but Gribble is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gribble is looking to stand up but Romo isn't so interested in that idea. Romo tries to free his leg and advance position but Gribble is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Romo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gribble works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Romo trying to control but Gribble is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Gribble fails with the takedown and Romo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gribble controls Romo momentarily but Romo frees himself. Romo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gribble is keeping the position for now. Gribble keeping moving, preventing Romo from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gribble looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Romo trying to control but Gribble is working from the bottom. Gribble is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Gribble tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gribble keeping full guard, as Romo tries to pass.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Romo scores with a jab to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Romo closes the distance looking to clinch and Gribble counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gribble. Romo manages to break the clinch.

A punch combination from Gribble misses. Romo gets off balance looking for a body kick and Gribble counters with a single leg into guard. Romo didn't expect that. Romo uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Romo shoots for a takedown but Gribble saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gribble throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Romo. Gribble has his takedown stuffed and Romo moves into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dale Gribble. That's going to take a lot out of him. Romo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gribble just stands there and leans against the cage. Gribble content to slow the pace in the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dale Gribble will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Romo keeps the fight on the outside. Gribble shoots in and bounces Romo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gribble is pushing down on Romo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Romo is fighting to maintain full guard but Gribble has managed to sneak the leg through. Gribble content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Dale Gribble overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gribble wants to take a breather but Romo is having none of it. Gribble is stalling here. Romo is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Gribble seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Romo has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Gribble manages to work his way to half guard, despite Romo's best efforts. Romo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gribble has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Romo is working away from the top position though. Gribble pushes Romo off and gets back to his feet. Gribble shoots for a takedown but Romo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. No luck for Gribble with that takedown attempt. Nice body kick from Gribble. Gribble looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dale Gribble. That's going to take a lot out of him. Romo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gribble's waist but Gribble gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Romo off to one side. Romo wants to clinch up but Gribble keeps it at a distance. Gribble looks to land a combination but Romo avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romo fails with the takedown and Gribble counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gribble. Gribble trying to control the position from guard on top but Romo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Romo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gribble slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Romo. The fighters are battling for position here. Romo manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Romo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gribble!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gribble takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The referee warns Gribble that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gribble is in a horrible position here. Romo smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Gribble is rocked! Romo sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Romo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Romo with good strikes from the mount here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Romo connects with a massive shot to the dome!
