Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Foss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Caotico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foss's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Now its on, Tech 9. The crowd seem to be enjoying Caotico's choice of entrance music: The last of mohicans. Felipe Caotico looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Foss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Felipe Caotico!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foss tries for a takedown but Caotico circles away easily

and Caotico moves into the clinch.
Caotico looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Foss has clasped his hands together around Caotico's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Foss has hold of Caotico's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Caotico manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Foss's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Foss can't escape the position.
Caotico avoids the attempt from Foss to control.

Foss tries to improve his position but instead Caotico has taken his back!
Foss is trying to break free.
Caotico slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Foss breaks Caotico's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Caotico is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Foss defends well.

Caotico scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Foss fails with a takedown attempt.

Caotico throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Foss was covering up waiting for the punch and Caotico finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Foss can't keep his opponent in guard - Caotico advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Foss has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Caotico is working away from the top position though.

Felipe Caotico showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Foss tries to score a power double leg takedown but Caotico sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Foss somewhat.

Caotico stuffs the takedown attempt from Foss. Foss gets slowly back to his feet.

Foss drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Caotico's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Josh Foss overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

After the fight, Josh Foss was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
