Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kofi Kingston!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kita circles away.
Kingston uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kita.

Kita prevents the takedown attempt.
Kita will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kingston up against the cage.

Kingston has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kita after a bit of a struggle.

Kingston prevents Kita from breaking the clinch.

Kita pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kita's corner calls for a 1-2. Kita obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kita lands a nice hook to Kingston's body. Kingston takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kita darts in and clinches Kingston up against the cage.

Kita pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kita fails to land with a series of punches.

Kingston walks into a straight right hand from Kita.
Kingston looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kita is fending him off so far but Kingston persists. Nope, Kita circles away and we're back to standing.
Kingston on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kingston scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kita takes a swing at Kingston's ribcage but misses.
Kingston fails with a takedown attempt.
Kita lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kita.


Kingston is rocked!
Kingston leaves his chin hanging out and Kita seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kingston crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
