Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alex Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jimmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Jimmy! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson fails to land with a series of punches.
Jimmy gets a takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Jimmy is thwarting Anderson's attempts to control the position. Jimmy trying to mount his opponent but Anderson defends it. Anderson looking for submissions off his back. Jimmy tries to pass the half guard into mount. Anderson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson wants to improve his position but Jimmy is controlling well.
Jimmy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Anderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jimmy is working away from the top position though.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jack Jimmy wasn't active enough on the ground. Jimmy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Anderson with a lazy takedown attempt and Jimmy counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Anderson! Anderson tries to buck Jimmy off but Jimmy is having none of it. Jimmy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Anderson is trying to control Jimmy's posture but Jimmy avoids it. Anderson is breathing heavily. Jimmy takes a little break here. Anderson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jimmy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. You can see the frustration on Anderson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jimmy is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Anderson has escaped the position, nice work there. Jimmy staying calm. Anderson taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jimmy looks up at the clock and then as Anderson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jimmy smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jimmy cracks Anderson with an elbow. That is naaassty. Anderson is trying to control Jimmy's posture but Jimmy avoids it. Jimmy is putting a hurting on Anderson here, landing some big shots from side control. Jimmy working the ground and pound from side control. Anderson is being controlled here. Jimmy stands up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jimmy drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Jimmy dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jimmy misses with a body kick. Jack Jimmy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson wants to clinch up but Jimmy keeps it at a distance. Jimmy misses with a double jab.
Anderson gets caught napping as Jimmy dives in and scores a takedown. Anderson manages to retain guard. Jimmy gets to his feet - Anderson follows without any prompting. Anderson moves in looking to clinch but Jimmy pushes him off. Anderson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Anderson gets caught napping as Jimmy dives in and scores a takedown. That's one minute gone in the round. Jimmy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Anderson is looking to control Jimmy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Anderson avoid being mounted? Jack Jimmy has got the better of the ground game so far. Jimmy is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. That's two minutes gone in the round. Jimmy is nestled in close to Anderson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jimmy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Jimmy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jimmy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jimmy. Anderson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jimmy stalling. Anderson wants to improve his position but Jimmy is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jimmy tries to pass the half guard into mount. Anderson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Anderson throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Jimmy manages to pass to side control. Jimmy lands a nice forearm strike. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jimmy cracks Anderson with a big right hand but Anderson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jimmy advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Jimmy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Jimmy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Jimmy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson struggling a bit here. Anderson is trying to escape the position but Jimmy is controlling the position. Jimmy decides to take the fight back to the feet. Jimmy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Anderson to the mat! Anderson manages to get full guard. Anderson looking to control.
Jimmy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Anderson wants to stand up but Jimmy is controlling him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jimmy controls from within his opponent's guard. Anderson can't keep his opponent in guard - Jimmy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Anderson wants to get back to his feet. Jimmy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Anderson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jimmy. Jimmy escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson moves out of range of the body kick from Jimmy.
Anderson wants to clinch up but Jimmy keeps it at a distance. Jimmy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Anderson was covering up waiting for the punch and Jimmy finishes the takedown easily into guard. Anderson looking to control but Jimmy passes into half guard.
Anderson wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson is working hard here to advance position. Jimmy sitting and controlling from the half guard. Jimmy is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jimmy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jack Jimmy was stalling too much, according to the referee. Jimmy clinches up against the cage. Jimmy misses with a hook from the clinch. Jimmy turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jimmy manages to end up in side control. Jimmy stands up. Jimmy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Anderson looks to clinch and Jimmy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jimmy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Alex Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jack Jimmy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Anderson is looking to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Jimmy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jimmy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
