Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tam Zeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zeus comes to the cage accompanied by Open Road. Silva has chosen Drop The World- Lil Wayne as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tam Zeus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
32 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matt Silva!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeus closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Zeus pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva moves out of range as Zeus strikes.
Zeus dodges the punch combination from Silva.
A nice leg kick lands there from Silva.
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Zeus misses the shot to the body.
Zeus throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Zeus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zeus misses with a lunging right hand
and Silva counters with a two punch combo.
Zeus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zeus.

Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zeus throws out the jab.

Zeus is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Silva's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Zeus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Zeus swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Zeus throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.

Zeus throws a shot from downtown. Silva moves away and avoids it.
Silva throws a solid leg kick but Zeus takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Silva.
Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zeus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Zeus connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Zeus scores with the left hand. Silva knows he should have avoided that one.
Zeus misses with a straight right.
Zeus avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva misses with a two punch combination.
Zeus shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tam Zeus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Silva slips under a jab from Zeus.

and Silva counters with a nice low kick that buckles Zeus's knee momentarily.

Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Silva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Zeus finds it's way round the side to connect with Silva's head.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
A left and a right from Silva both land. Nice combination.
A slow jab from Zeus misses its intended target.
Zeus looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.
Zeus throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.
Zeus misses with a body shot.
Zeus dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Zeus's head and hops out.
Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zeus just misses with a punch to the body.
Silva moves out of range as Zeus strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silva takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Silva throws a right and a left that Zeus avoids nicely.
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Zeus slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Zeus throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.
Zeus avoids the head kick by Silva.
Zeus misses with a looping right.
Tam Zeus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zeus lands a slapping body shot.
No luck for Zeus with that takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zeus shoots in and gets a takedown into Silva's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Zeus sitting in guard, not really doing much.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tam Zeus will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Silva connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Zeus shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Silva is trying to defend but Zeus finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Zeus winds up and cracks Silva with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Zeus seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Silva is looking to escape.
Zeus maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Silva could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Zeus has cracked it and Silva is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Zeus!
