Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sasha Petrova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuyuki Takimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takimoto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Instrumental kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sasha Petrova had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrova jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A nice leg kick lands there from Petrova.
Takimoto gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Petrova throws out a leg kick but Takimoto moves out of range and Petrova only half commits.
Petrova is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Takimoto.
Petrova thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kazuyuki Takimoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Petrova tenderised Takimoto's leg. Takimoto is trying to keep his angry face on.
Petrova misses with a wild body shot.
Takimoto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Takimoto closes the distance and clinches up with Petrova, looking for a takedown. Takimoto pushes Petrova against the cage but Petrova circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Takimoto lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Takimoto slips under a jab.
Petrova swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Takimoto.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Takimoto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Petrova - the referee stops the clock and Takimoto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Petrova. Takimoto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Petrova fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Takimoto manages to avoid it.
Petrova takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Petrova connects with an inside leg kick.

Petrova throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Petrova is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Takimoto scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Takimoto does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Petrova throws a nice inside leg kick.

Petrova really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Petrova lands with a thumping leg kick.
Takimoto takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Petrova cracks Takimoto with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Takimoto tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Petrova pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Takimoto is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
