Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Syd Cutter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norris Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Syd Cutter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Norris Cole! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole blocks a jab. Cutter throws a nice inside leg kick. Cutter scores with a head kick. Cole tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Cutter misses with an attempted mid kick.

and Cole counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cutter! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cole thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cutter tries to strike but it doesn't land. Cutter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cole on the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cole pushes a forearm under Cutter's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Cutter is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Norris Cole! Norris Cole opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
