The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Velttonen misses.
Poutsi clinches up with Velttonen and pushes him back against the cage.
Poutsi is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Velttonen tries a body shot but Poutsi blocks it.
Velttonen tries to circle away but Poutsi has him pinned against the cage.
Velttonen blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Poutsi pushes Velttonen back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Velttonen is trying to break the clinch but Poutsi has him pressed against the cage.

Poutsi digs a right hand into Velttonen's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Velttonen's gas tank.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Poutsi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Poutsi lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Velttonen backwards.
Poutsi trying to control the position but instead, Velttonen has worked for underhooks and has pushed Poutsi into the cage.

Poutsi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Velttonens head.
Poutsi gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Velttonen regains guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Poutsi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Velttonen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Poutsi has managed to get both his arms back between Velttonen's legs - danger averted.

Poutsi throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Velttonen colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Poutsi as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Velttonen is left battered and dazed whilst Poutsi and his camp cheer!

After the fight, Tim Poutsi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
