Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Stupka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stupka has chosen Red Army March as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharitonov throws a head kick that misses.
Stupka throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stupka cracks Kharitonov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Sergei Kharitonov has been cut.
Kharitonov throws the kick towards the body but Stupka avoids it.

Kharitonov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kharitonov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kharitonov lands with a straight right. Stupka didn't see that one coming.
Stupka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kharitonov circles away quickly and effectively.
Stupka walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kharitonov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stupka, as that shot connected.

Stupka takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kharitonov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Kharitonov counters with a body kick that stops Stupka in his tracks momentarily.

Stupka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Stupka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Kharitonov counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Kharitonov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stupka.

Stupka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kharitonov manages to avoid it.

Stupka looks to score with a jab to the body but Kharitonov is just out of range.
Kharitonov throws a lazy right hand but Stupka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kharitonov misses with a wild combination.

Kharitonov lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Stupka sprawling to the canvas. Kharitonov follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Stupka hang on?

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sergei Kharitonov dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Kharitonov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Stupka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stupka gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

The cut above Rocco Stupka's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Stupka with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kharitonov to score with a decent uppercut.
Kharitonov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stupka manages to avoid it.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Stupka in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Rocco Stupka's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

and Stupka is countered with a crisp right hand from Kharitonov that sends him to the canvas! Kharitonov follows him to the mat into side control.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rocco Stupka's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
