Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Felipe LeBron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LeBron kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cassidy-I'm A Hustla. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Jones!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones moves in looking to clinch but LeBron pushes him off.
Jones misses with a right hand
and LeBron counters with a left and a right that stings Jones.
Jones misses with a hook.
Jones throws a hook but LeBron avoids it easily.
LeBron avoids the body shot from Jones.
Jones tries to clinch up but LeBron circles away and keeps his distance.
Jones shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but LeBron was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on LeBron's shoulder, as LeBron tries to avoid the shot.
A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride.
LeBron blocks a head kick by Jones.
LeBron shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than LeBron was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones tries to buck LeBron off but LeBron is having none of it.
Jones gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
LeBron sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
LeBron working the ground and pound effectively.
LeBron looking to finish Jones with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jones!
LeBron scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jones?
Jones is bucking up trying to escape but LeBron cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
LeBron in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Jones is rocked!
LeBron postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Jones in real trouble here! The ref calls for Jones to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Felipe LeBron!
