Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Green might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mac Miller- Donald Trump. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frankie Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Payne!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green slips a jab and a cross from Payne.
Green tries to move into range but Payne moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Payne cracks Green with a good jab.
Payne throws a right hand that Green ducks under and follows up with a left that Green also avoids with ease.
Payne feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Greens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Payne misses the jab.
Green tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Payne paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Payne throws a hook to the side of Green's head but Green sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Payne swings widly with a right hand
and Green counters with a nice uppercut.
Payne slips under a jab from Green.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Payne thuds a left hand into Green's body.
Payne with a nice cross.
Payne throws an overhand right that lands on Green's shoulder, as Green tries to avoid the shot.
Payne throws a series of punches but Green avoids them all with ease.
Green moves out of range as Payne strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Payne connects with a right hand. Green shakes it off.
Payne scores with a jab.
Payne digs a good body shot into Green's ribs.
Payne jabs at Green's body.
A telegraphed right hand from Green misses the target.
Sloppy strikes from Payne. Those never looked like landing.
Payne thuds a left hand into Green's body.
Green throws the left hand but Payne avoids the punch easily.
Payne lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Payne.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice straight punches there by Payne. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Payne.
Payne thows a body shot but no joy.
Green keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Payne.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Payne throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Green cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Payne misses the shot to the body.
Payne connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Payne cracks Green with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Payne darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Payne. Green does a little dance to reset his feet.
Payne scores with a punch to the head.
Payne lands with a right hand.
Payne connects with the punch.
Green is rocked!
Payne throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Green's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Payne dives in looking to finish as Green flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Payne's strikes! Payne is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Green's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Green was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phil Payne!
