Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Conflict-Disturbed. Darko has chosen The Black Keys - Breaks as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Ace Darko!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers moves out of range of the leg kick from Darko.
Summers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nathan Summers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Darko throws out a loose jab but Summers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Darko punishes Summers's body with a nice straight punch.
Summers avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Summers waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Darko.

A left and a right from Summers both land. Nice combination.

Summers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Darko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Summers lands a couple of digs.
Darko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Summers is one step ahead there.
Summers with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Darko is trying to control the position but Summers postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Darko slips a jab and a cross from Summers.
Darko throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Summers's head.
Summers avoids the head kick by Darko.
Darko works Summers's body with a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ace Darko will probably get the nod.
That's time! Summers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Darko throws a big shot that misses.
Summers lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Summers.

and Summers counters with a nice double leg into side control. Darko won't be happy with that.
Darko is trying to control Summers's posture but Summers avoids it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Darko shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Nathan Summers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Summers counters with a three punch combo that has Darko backing up. Darko nods at Summers to acknowledge the strikes.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A close second round but Ace Darko will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Some bone on bone action there as Summers checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Summers counters with an inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Summers connects with a good right hand that stumbles Darko. Darko circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Darko takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Darko just misses with a punch to the body.
Summers shoots for a double leg takedown but Darko sprawls well. He's pushed Summers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Darko throws out a loose jab but Summers uses good head movement to avoid it.

Darko moves forwards but Summers connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Darko misses with a body shot.
Summers throws a shot from downtown. Darko moves away and avoids it.
Summers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Summers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ace Darko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Darko avoids a punch combination nicely.

Summers slips under a jab from Darko.

Darko thows a body shot but no joy.
Summers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Darko.

The fighters circling - Darko throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Summers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Darko manages to avoid it.

Darko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Summers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Darko pinned against the cage. Darko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Summers. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ace Darko is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nathan Summers.
I think Darko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
