Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Stokes. No joy for Frata on that attempt.
Stokes closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Frata tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Frata changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stokes tries to avoid it but Frata manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stokes to the ground. Stokes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stokes misses with a double jab
and Frata counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Stokes is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Brian Stokes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Frata on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stokes closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Frata! Stokes dives in looking to finish! Frata is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
