Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Pineda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Winter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winter comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ICE COLD kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack Winter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Pineda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Winter! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good work by Pineda as he checks the leg kick. Winter misses with a low kick. Pineda avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Pineda shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Winter is trying to defend but Pineda finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Pineda not doing much here.
Ground and pound from Pineda. Winter is staying active underneath Pineda, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Pineda looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Winter looking for submissions off his back. Winter is refusing to be controlled, as Pineda sits in half guard. Pineda scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pineda landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Still in half guard, Pineda seems content to control. Winter flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Pineda prevents Winter from improving his position. Pineda working over Winter with some ground and pound. Winter looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Winter throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pineda works his foot free and advances to mount. Pineda landing strikes from the mount. Pineda fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Winter is bucking up trying to escape but Pineda cracks him with another couple of good strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Pineda raining down hammerfists from mount. Pineda landing shots from mount. Winter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pineda looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Pineda lands a big elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pineda prevents Winter from getting the reversal. Pineda lands a big elbow. Winter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pineda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pineda postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Winter looks a forlorn figure.
Winter is rocked! Winter throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Winter is still in real trouble! Can Pineda finish him? Pineda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pineda blocks Winter's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Pineda working the ground and pound effectively.
Pineda working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Winter turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Pineda off and cradles Winter's limp body as Pineda celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Mark Pineda! A less than humble Mark Pineda misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
