Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karri Vahti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt has chosen Comfortably Numb as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vahti lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Hunt has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vahti finds it's way round the side to connect with Hunt's head.

Karri Vahti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Merik Hunt.

Vahti walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hunt checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hunt lands a leg kick that knocks Vahti off balance momentarily.

Good leg kick by Hunt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Karri Vahti.
I think Hunt has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
