Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kublai Congo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abe Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Congo comes to the cage accompanied by Lil' Jamal - Genetic For Terror. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Congo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Goldman scores with a nice strike.
Congo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A left lands for Goldman.
Goldman tries to score with a low kick but Congo moves his leg out of the way.
Goldman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Congo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Goldman won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Goldman is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Congo has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Congo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Goldman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Congo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Goldman throws a left that rocks Congo and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Goldman dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Congo regain composure!

It looks like Kublai Congo has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kublai Congo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Goldman wants to stand but Congo is controlling his arm.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Goldman is looking to take a break and control but Congo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Abe Goldman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Goldman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Goldman throws a shot from downtown. Congo moves away and avoids it.
Congo connects with a body shot that sends Goldman's belly button to the back.
Both fighters circling a little - Goldman finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Congo shoots in but no luck this time.
Goldman has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Goldman tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Congo is able to avoid easily.
Goldman lands a head kick. Congo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Congo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goldman moves away.
Goldman tests Congo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Oh Congo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Goldman is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Congo flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Congo is out cold! Goldman holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
