Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hyonjo Gua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jonathan gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jonathan gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gua misses with a wild combination.
Gua looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Gua avoids a punch combination nicely.
gracie fakes the leg kick and cracks Gua in the body.
gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gua to the mat! Gua manages to get full guard.
gracie gets to his feet - Gua follows without any prompting.
Gua pulls out of a head kick attempt.
gracie fails to land the takedown.
Gua scoring well with a low kick there.
gracie drives through with a takedown into guard.
gracie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
gracie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gua, up you get!

gracie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here as gracie stalls from top position.
Gua wants to get back to his feet.
gracie decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gua to his feet.
gracie forces Gua back against the cage and clinches.
gracie prevents Gua from breaking the clinch.

and Gua counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for gracie!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gua thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
gracie manages to escape and get back to his feet!
gracie closes the distance and clinches.
gracie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gua pulls him back up using the underhooks.

gracie pulls Gua into guard.
gracie wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gua is now in half guard.
Gua is looking to take a break and control but gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

gracie wants to control but Gua is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Gua misses with a head shot. gracie uses the momentum to regain guard.
gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gua manages to get himself to full guard.
gracie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
gracie blocks a head kick by Gua.
Gua avoids the head kick by gracie.
gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Gua tries to sprawl out of it but gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gua manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A jab lands there for gracie.
Gua throws a half hearted mid kick.
gracie has Gua up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
gracie throws an elbow but it misses.
Gua tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

gracie wants to stand and escape but Gua is having none of it.
gracie is trying to control the position but Gua postures up.

gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gua is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gua's back instead.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gua staying busy and making it hard for gracie to control.
gracie is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Gua. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Gua looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Gua is trying to stand back up.
gracie is riding his opponent, not letting Gua buck him off.

gracie cracks Gua with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Gua from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
gracie is landing with strikes from the back.
Gua trying to control but not successfully.
gracie just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
gracie's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Gua rolls, trying to escape but gracie keeps control of the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gua is trying to get back to his feet but gracie has full control of the position and if anything, Gua has just worked his way into a worse spot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Gua fights it but they end up in guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
gracie wants to control from the top but Gua keeps moving.
gracie controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

gracie gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
A head kick by Gua misses
and gracie counters with a leg kick.
gracie instigates a clinch.
gracie lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
gracie is controlling the pace.

gracie stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Gua closes the distance but gracie moves to the side
and gracie counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by gracie.
Gua is working for takedown but gracie is calmly controlling the position for now.
gracie manages to break the clinch.
Gua lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Hyonjo Gua is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
gracie swats away the attempt to clinch by Gua.
gracie moves into range and clinches up with Gua.

gracie lands a damaging elbow.
gracie lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Gua is looking to break free of the clinch but gracie has double underhooks.
Gua tries to pull guard but gracie won't allow it.

Well gracie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
