Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timo Balles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balles tries to clinch but Huerta moves out of range.
Balles tries to clinch up but Huerta circles away and keeps his distance.
Balles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Huerta as he avoids it easily.
Huerta feints and as Balles raises his hands in defense, Huerta changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Balles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Huerta on the ground.
Huerta stands and throws Balles's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Balles is looking for a sweep.
Huerta tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Huerta has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Huerta postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Huerta is looking to take a break and control but Balles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Balles tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Balles keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Huerta decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Balles's guard.
Huerta slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Balles.
Huerta decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Huerta shoots in and bounces Balles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Huerta misses with a takedown attempt - Balles sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Huerta shoots in for a double leg but Balles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Huerta seems to be working for a kimura but Balles defends the submission attempt.
Huerta is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Balles is just riding it out for now. Huerta eventually gives up the hold.
Huerta seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Balles does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Huerta throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Balles because Huerta loaded up on that one.
Huerta pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Balles tries to lock up and control but Huerta gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Huerta gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Balles doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Huerta counters with a nice double leg into side control. Balles won't be happy with that.
Huerta has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Balles!
Huerta looking to control but Balles is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Huerta misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Balles is squirming around, avoiding Huerta's attempts to control the action.
Huerta get's back to his feet.

Huerta circles away from the clinch attempt.
Huerta is looking to clinch but Balles is avoiding it.
Balles gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Huerta counters with a shoot takedown. Balles fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Diego Huerta showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Huerta thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Despite being in the dominant position, Diego Huerta just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Diego Huerta comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
