Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Julian Demaestri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John McCall! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCall misses with a looping right. Demaestri tries to clinch up. McCall cracks Demaestri with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Demaestri doesn't manage to clinch there - McCall circles away.

Demaestri shoots in looking for a takedown. McCall tries to sprawl out of it but Demaestri keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice takedown defense from McCall. No joy for Demaestri on that attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Demaestri looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A right-left combo lands from McCall. Demaestri shoots in looking for a takedown. McCall tries to sprawl out of it but Demaestri keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julian Demaestri. That's going to take a lot out of him. Demaestri takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Demaestri darts in trying to clinch and McCall cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demaestri closes this distance looking for a takedown but McCall circles away. Demaestri takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Demaestri is rocked! Demaestri throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Oh Demaestri is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! McCall drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Demaestri right on the button. Demaestri goes down! McCall follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! McCall gets the win via TKO!
