Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between New York Strangler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Kraylen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kraylen has chosen Me Against the World - Tupac as his entrance music. Jimmy Kraylen struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jimmy Kraylen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, New York Strangler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Kraylen! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strangler fails with a takedown attempt. Kraylen forces Strangler back against the cage and clinches. Strangler can't get the takedown.
A knee to the head by Kraylen.
It looks like New York Strangler has been cut. Kraylen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kraylen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kraylen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Strangler stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kraylen. Strangler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kraylen swats him away and circles back towards the center. Strangler drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kraylen is on top in guard.
Strangler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kraylen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Strangler had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kraylen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Strangler Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kraylen's back instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strangler has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Kraylen. Strangler patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Strangler looking to break Kraylen's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kraylen remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Strangler will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kraylen defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Strangler's arms. Strangler is breathing heavily. Strangler is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kraylen knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kraylen for a finish. Strangler keeps control of the position as Kraylen tries to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strangler is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Kraylen preventing the sweep. Strangler looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kraylen puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Strangler is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kraylen pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kraylen is trying to control the action in half guard but Strangler is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Strangler is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Strangler trying to hold on to Kraylen's head to control him but Kraylen postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kraylen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Strangler sneaks out the side door and pushes Kraylen away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Kraylen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Strangler's guard. Strangler lands an upkick as Kraylen stands over him. Strangler has an active guard here but Kraylen has managed to pass into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Strangler manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kraylen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Strangler controls Kraylen momentarily but Kraylen frees himself. Strangler throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Strangler throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Strangler is trying to keep Kraylen in close.
Kraylen is looking to stand up but Strangler won't let him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that New York Strangler will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on New York Strangler's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Strangler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kraylen tries to avoid it but Strangler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kraylen to the ground. Kraylen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kraylen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Strangler shoots in but Kraylen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Strangler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kraylen circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for New York Strangler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Strangler takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kraylen throws and low kick but Strangler moves out of range easily. Kraylen connects with the punch. Kraylen chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Strangler scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Strangler is trying to control the action in half guard but Kraylen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Strangler looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Strangler seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strangler is working for a kimura but Kraylen is defending it quite comfortably.
Strangler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kraylen is just riding it out for now. Strangler eventually gives up the hold. Strangler trying to mount his opponent but Kraylen defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Strangler passes to full mount! Kraylen tries to hold on but Strangler pushes him away. BOOM! Strangler connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Strangler is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kraylen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Strangler swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kraylen is now in Strangler's guard. A big mistake from Strangler there, giving up the dominant position! New York Strangler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strangler throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Strangler is pressing down on Kraylen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kraylen stopping the sweep attempt from Strangler. Strangler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Strangler keeping moving, preventing Kraylen from controlling successfully. Kraylen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Strangler wants to get back to full guard. Strangler gets full guard. Strangler has his foot on Kraylen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kraylen works his way back into a safe position though. Strangler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Strangler tries to strike from the bottom.

Strangler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Strangler wants to sweep but no luck. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Strangler lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kraylen! Kraylen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Strangler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Strangler goes for an armbar but Kraylen turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kraylen. That's two minutes gone in the round. Jimmy Kraylen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Strangler will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Strangler looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Strangler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kraylen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kraylen preventing the sweep. Kraylen wants to stand but Strangler has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Strangler wants to sweep here but Kraylen controlling him for the moment. Strangler is working hard here to advance position. Strangler working for a triangle but Kraylen defends it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Strangler will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

And that's the end of the fight! New York Strangler showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Strangler, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
