Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leopold Scotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Ernst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leopold Scotch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tim Ernst! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scotch clinches up with Ernst and pushes him back against the cage. Ernst tries a body shot but Scotch blocks it.
Ernst throws a head punch that misses. Ernst tries to land a knee to the head but Scotch blocks with his arms.
Ernst is trying to drag Scotch to the mat but Scotch just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ernst misses with a short punch on the inside. Ernst tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Scotch works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Scotch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ernst swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ernst seems keen to control Scotch's posture. Ernst looking to hit a scissor sweep but Scotch is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ernst is on top in guard.
Ernst pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Scotch is keeping the position for now. Ernst wants to control from the top but Scotch keeps moving. Ernst is looking to pass into half guard but Scotch pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Scotch is in guard. Scotch is fighting to break Ernst's control of his arms but Ernst is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Scotch scoring with punches to the head and body. Scotch postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Scotch throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ernst is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Scotch trying to control the position from guard on top but Ernst is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ernst working a defensive guard here.
Scotch trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ernst looking for a sweep. Not yet Ernst, not yet. Scotch stands up over Ernst, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ernst wants to stand but Scotch is controlling the position. Ernst is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ernst has momentary wrist control but Scotch slips an elbow through the middle. Ernst controls Scotch momentarily but Scotch frees himself. Scotch trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ernst manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Scotch manages to get himself to full guard.
Scotch wants to sweep here but Ernst controlling him for the moment. Ernst trying to control but Scotch is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scotch trying to control the position here. Ernst looking to sit in guard and control but Scotch gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scotch loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ernst controls Scotch momentarily but Scotch frees himself. Scotch being controlled here momentarily. Scotch trying to control the position from guard on top but Ernst is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scotch works over Ernst with some ground and pound from guard. Ernst looking to control.
Ernst manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Scotch tries to hold on but Ernst postures up. Ernst trying to control but Scotch is having none of it. Ernst looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tim Ernst will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Scotch misses with a wild combination.
Ernst throws a shot from downtown. Scotch moves away and avoids it. Scotch avoids the head kick by Ernst.
Ernst looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Leopold Scotch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scotch throws a series of punches but Ernst moves out of range. Jab, jab by Scotch - just one landing. Ernst misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ernst stuffs the takedown attempt from Scotch. Scotch gets slowly back to his feet. Scotch throws a one two combo.
It looks like Tim Ernst has been cut. Scotch looks to throw the jab but Ernst is out of range. Ernst digs a good hook to Scotch's body.
Scotch tries to bum rush Ernst with a series of wild strikes but Ernst uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ernst throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tim Ernst is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Scotch connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ernst is rocked! Scotch dives in and grabs Ernst's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ernst pushes down on Scotch's head and hops out. Ernst is still on wobbly legs! Can Scotch finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scotch digs a good hook to Ernst's body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Scotch shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ernst wants to get back to full guard. Ground and pound from Scotch. Ernst trying to control but Scotch postures up.
Scotch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ernst with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Scotch scores with a big shot! Ernst's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Ernst! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leopold Scotch! During a confident post fight interview, Leopold Scotch thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
