Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Spackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, John Spackman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Erik Williams!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams lands with a straight right. Spackman didn't see that one coming.


It looks like John Spackman has been cut.
Spackman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Spackman.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spackman tries to move to mount but Williams blocks the move with his legs.
Spackman throws a strike aimed at the side of Williams's head but Williams avoids it well.

Spackman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Williams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Spackman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Williams has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Spackman but great work by Williams.

Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spackman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Williams decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Spackman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williams but Williams pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Spackman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Williams is positioning himself well to prevent Spackman advancing to mount.
Spackman stalling away here and it's allowed Williams to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Spackman shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense.
Spackman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Williams tries to bum rush Spackman with a series of wild strikes but Spackman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Spackman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Spackman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Spackman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Spackman is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Williams still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Williams has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

I've got Williams winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
