Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Virgil Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zach Didion!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Didion instigates a clinch.
Didion blocks a body shot from Keller.
Didion tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Keller avoids it.
Keller blocks an elbow strike.
Keller working hard to break the clinch.
Keller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Keller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Didion tries to close the distance and clinch but Keller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Didion throws a sloppy head kick
and Keller connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Zach Didion has been cut.
Didion closes this distance looking for a takedown but Keller circles away.
Didion looks to throw the jab but Keller is out of range.
Keller sends Didion crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Keller is motioning to the referee to let Didion up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Didion is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Keller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Didion is still on wobbly legs! Can Keller finish him?
Keller is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Didion fails with an attempt to clinch.
Keller lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Didion - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Keller!
